Today was Aiden's preschool Easter party. The school requested that one of the parents host the party at their house. And somehow, I got the time that the party started confused. I wrote the wrong time down on the calendar and we showed up 30 minutes late. Oops! Aiden missed doing the craft, but he was still able to have the special snack and participate in the Easter egg hunt. Thankfully, it didn't snow anymore (The weather forecasters here LOVE predicting snow because we don't get it all that often and they are normally overly optimistic about the amount we are going to get) and we were able to have the Easter egg hunt outside! And he was sooo excited that I got to stay with him today.
Aiden had so much fun looking for eggs and I had a blast watching him! He did such a good job finding the eggs! The family had one of those big barrels that you can plant flowers in and we were standing across the yard from it. Aiden said, "Mommy, there's an egg in that basket!" I wasn't sure if there was or not, but we went to check and he was right! He already knows what would make a good hiding place!
Once we got back inside, Aiden immediately got into his candy! But he wouldn't look at me at all for any pictures. He was more interested in his friend's dinosaurs!
A class picture (The class is mostly made up of boys, but there were 2 more little girls who wouldn't part from their mommies for the photo). Looks like Aiden isn't the only one who isn't interested in looking at the camera!
