The group met at Chuck E Cheese and all of the kids were really excited and running in opposite directions. So I didn't really get a chance to talk to anyone very much. So there is still hope!
Aiden has been bouncing off the walls lately because it's been so cold and we've not been able to get out. This finally gave him a chance to get out some of his energy. He was really serious about playing his games...
Aiden loved playing air hockey. But it was a little difficult to keep him off the table! Every time I scored he would growl and climb up and lay on the table so he could have a better shot at my goal. He did end up winning.
This is what Holden thought of the whole experience:
Even though the mommy meetup basically turned out to be just another day out with the boys, we had a really good time. Maybe next time I will have some fun stories to share!

Sorry your 1st playgroup was a bit of a disappointment ... hope the next one feels a more fulfilling. Our favorite playgroups are when we meet at someones home and the kids can play in closer quarters and together. Gives the moms a chance to chat and bond too! Good luck with your next one.
The photos are so cute!

Happy Friday and I followed you. :)
Come check me out.
Cute pictures, we have lots of tokens we need to use at Chuck E Cheese. Happy Follow Friday! I'm a new follower, you can find me blogging here: http://www.couponclippinmommy.com/
Glad you had fun! Outings like that, I always kind of think: what's the point in being with a group, since you can't actually stay together.
But,you should be glad you don't have one of my awful stories to tell!
Glad you had a great time! Sorry you didn't get to talk to any moms though. Looks like Aiden had a blast! :)
Stopping by from Friday Follow! Your boys are adorable! And LOVE your blog title!

The picture of Holden made me laugh! Isn't it amazing, too, how the competitiveness starts so young. It always feels good for me to get out with my kids, even when I don’t personally have any other meaningful adult interaction. Just getting out can be really nice and the kids enjoy it too!
Following along from FF. Great blog!
Happy Friday!
Friday follower. Nice to meet you!
I've been trying to get to a my first mommy group. My daughter has been sick and then the in laws came for a "surprise" visit. I am hoping we can make it this week! Your boys are adorable!!

I LOVE Holden's expression in that last photo. Yeah, that is pretty much what I think of Chuck E Cheese too!
I don't know what it is but Holden's facial expressions always crack me up!!!!! He is a cutie! Do you have some neighbors close to you to do playdates with? Sometimes that works out better.
Happy Friday!! I am a new follower!!

Following you back! LOL...love those pictures!
I love the photos! Mommy meetups are sometimes hard because you always have to chase after your own kids. I love playdates at peoples houses. It's more intimate.

At least you had a fun day..but yes there are some places that are better for the mommies of the group than others. But at least you didn't just let you boys wander and visit anyway, I have seen way too many moms do that.
Following you now too :)

I've always been afraid of mommy groups, I don't know why. I should just take the plunge like you!
Thanks for stopping by my blog! Following you back now. :-)
So cute! Your boys are precious! I have 2 boys also a little further apart - 2004 and 2009 (and a girl in the middle) BUT my older boy will do anything for the baby. He just can't wait for him to grow up. He has big plans for the 2 of them.
Sorry your didn't get to hang out at Chucky's with the other moms - hopefully next time.
new follower from FF - hope you will and visit me.

I agree with many of your previous posters - meeting at someplace like Chuck-E's is fun for the kids, but doesn't leave you much social time with other moms - the good thing though is to be able to meet in public and put faces to the names for future meet ups, our MOMS club encourages first meetings to be out - I personally prefer Barnes & Noble or someplace quieter than CEC, but looks like a fun time was had!
My mommy group is online. It has pluses (you don't have to worry about someone dropping by unexpected and find out that you are not the bestest maid, cook...or that you don't even wear real clothes, pajama pants are my daily wardrobe) (maybe this is just me, lol). The down side, you don't actually get to play, the kids that is. I need to look into finding one because my baby has no interaction with other children her age. My older 2 are in school all day, so it is just her and her crazy mommmy...and the freaks on yo gabba gabba.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I love yours! Your children are too cute for words!
